August is just around the corner, and if you are an anti-social person like me who loves their ‘Me Time’ then I’ve got you covered for the entire month of  Netflix in August!

I know you’re gonna ditch all the meetups and parties with amazing excuses like taking care of your dead grandma!

(Depending on your region, some shows might not be available, but you can use a Netflix with VPN to bypass geo-restrictions)

Best on Netflix in August 2019

Here are the top binge-worthy Netflix Originals coming your way this August!

Glow (season 3)

“In Vegas, anything glows”

While Vegas looks like paradise on earth, topless girls, music, bars, and the famous casinos there is more to the city than meets the eye. It’s not all glitter and no grind, in fact, it’s more grind than glitter.

Season 3 shows the ups and downs in the Glow girl’s lives. While Debbie is making progress as a producer, guilt of leaving her child behind consumes her.

On the other hand personal issues in Ruth’s life pull her back from following her passion and taking a backstage but we will be seeing some steadiness in season 3 as she gets a job and a boyfriend. However, she still feels things are not all good, she tells Debbie.

The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance

This is the stuff for comic lovers! With intense detailing on animation and attention to detail, The Dark Crystal is gonna sweep the ground off your feet!

The show is gonna be a PREQUEL of 1982 The Dark Crystal novel by Jim Henson’s. It was and still is regarded as a masterpiece.

So the idea is to go even deeper and create something so real and engaging that the audience forgets they are actually watching puppets on the screen.

Sacred Games (Season 2)

Fans have been dying for the release of Sacred Games season 2! The show is filled with violence and gore encompassing the rise of India’s greatest gangster!

It has a 91% rating on rotten tomatoes and most of the credit goes to Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who has awestruck audiences worldwide especially in the sub-continent with his exceptional acting skills.

The show has been likened to Narcos, however, runs on a different line according to Mike Hale, a reviewer at The New York Times. It is also the first Bollywood production to hit on Netflix!

Mindhunter (Season 2)

Season two of the serial killer drama series has long been waited for and fans are more than happy!
The show revolves around solving mysteries by the use of psychology and mind sciences trying to figure out of why cybercriminals do what they do! The show will feature the story of The Atlanta child murders that took place around 1979-1981.
